Coats For Kids

No child should have to go out without a coat – whether that be to school, nursery or indeed anywhere. Coats For Kids is a project run by our church to try to help ensure this does not happen. We offer free brand new jackets and coats for all local kids aged 0-11 who need them. For many families the cost of living is becoming more demanding, and just making ends meet becomes an increasing pressure and challenge. Coats For Kids exists to help ease this burden by taking away the pressure on these families to provide one of the essential items for their children. By working in partnership with the local schools, nurseries and social workers, we are able to discreetly find out those kids and families in most need, and offer them a voucher for a brand new coat or jacket.

We collect donations of new coats or money which is then used to buy new coats – if you would like to donate towards this project or find out more about it, please contact us on 07595 088946, or by filling out the contact form on this website.

The Heart of Success – Men’s ‘Wanted’ Conference Saturday 4th June

Wanted – Scotland’s first Elim National Men’s Conference – took place in May 2012, and it was immediately obvious that the gathering of men from across Scotland had a significant impact for the men and churches represented. Wanted was born out of the heart of several pastors in Scotland to encourage and equip the men in churches, but also to begin the process of helping reach men outside the four walls of the church.

Wanted 2016 will take place on Saturday 4th June, with a theme entitled “THE HEART OF SUCCESS”. Our main speaker in 2016 will be Rob Parsons from Care for the Family.

Wanted warmly welcomes men from churches of all denominations, movements and independent fellowships, and our heart is that this annual gathering will be source of encouragement to all who come, and will revive the hearts of every man to take up the challenge to be changed, and in doing so, bring positive change to their families, churches, neighbourhoods, cities and our nation.
